The following is the summer reading list from which you are required to read two books of your choice.  Use the format provided for your book reports for each of the two books.  The book reports must be submitted by September 9.

Describe the character.  Use at least two adjectives to explain what he or she is like (i.e. funny, smart, brave). Give details from the book to support your answer.
2. Setting
Where does your story mostly take place? (i.e. a city, a forest, a beach)
When does your story take place? (i.e. past, present, future, 1950’s)
3. Summary
Writea brief summary about your book.  Include only the most important events.  Think about what happened in the beginning, the middle, and the end of your book to help you.  (You may attach another paper if you need more room).
4. Picture
Draw and color a picture of your favorite part of the book on a separate sheet of paper.    Write a sentence underneath, explaining what is happening in the picture.
